We (Tom and Rosamund Jordan) have been dealing in pictures for twenty five years. During this time we have specialised in pictures painted by impressionist artists working in the North of England around the turn of the century. WE BELIEVE THAT THE WORK OF THESE ARTISTS PROBABLY PRESENTS THE BEST VALUE IN THE ART MARKET TODAY. We always have a number of works by members of the Staithes Group who painted in and exhibited from the little fishing village on the North Yorkshire Heritage Coast associated with Captain Cook. Most members also exhibited at the Royal Academy and other major galleries.Other artists with whom we are particularly associated include, Robert Howey, John Falconar Slater and Frank Wasley. Locations which can usually be found featured on our paintings include Whitby, York, Staithes, Runswick Bay, Robin Hoods Bay, the North Yorks Moors of Heartbeat, the Yorkshire Dales of James Herriot, Durham, York and the Lake District. Guernsey and St.Michaels Mount are also featured at present. Although based on Teesside, and now also showing at Anna Harrison Antiques, Gosforth, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, we are always happy to discuss paintings with prospective buyers from anywhere in the world. We exhibit regularly in the North, are happy to show our work by appointment anywhere in the UK. We will bring pictures to the home or business of North Eastern clients so they may be seen in situ. We also commission and resource paintings on behalf of clients and can provide pictures for presentations. |
